I BELIEVE IN GOD, JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT!

God is at the core of who I am. I believe that at birth, I inherited the right to be "Queen of my own Empire", which represents all of the things I create through my talent, potential and the visions that are God-inspired.

There are so many that seem to want to separate Christianity from their business and other life journeys. However for me, it's important that you know where I get my faith, strength and beliefs from.

Now, if you're not Christian, I understand and will treat you with all respect, love and support. But know that I mention God quite often and many of the mindset strategies and principles that I teach, I have received these gifts through the Holy Spirit Within Me.

I believe that we are all pre-installed with the ability to achieve success, spiritually, mentally, physically and financially. I believe that we were created in God's image and are able to manifest and bring into the physical world anything that we desire for we are created in God's image!

YES, I WAS A KID-PRENEUR!

I was one of those kids that knew early on if I offered a service or product, I could get cash in exchange! In addition to a lemonade stand, I started clubs, made jewelry, and as a teen, I was the best babysitter ever.

If I wanted something, I always knew that I could create a plan to make it happen. Early on, I got a mental buzz from the excitement and possibilities of my ideas and to this day, I get the same feeling when I get an idea! By the way, the little girl in the picture is not me, but she reminds me so much of myself.

BUSINESS & BEING A MILITARY SPOUSE!

For more than 20 years, I had the pleasure of being a military spouse and traveling to new duty stations around the nation and abroad with my husband Robert who is retired US Navy. Although I was working in the medical field, I also started a cleaning service, which I consider my first business as an adult.

I got the idea to start the service from the doctors and nurses discussing their need to have their houses cleaned. So, Elite Cleaning Services was born in Norfolk, Virginia in 1984. I hired other military spouses to assist with the cleaning and it took off from there.

It was also my first big lesson in understanding the importance of proper business planning and bookkeeping. I lost a major government cleaning contract, because I didn't have my business foundation set properly. It was a very painful lesson and marked the start of me learning how to start, structure, and grow my business.

HELPING WOMEN ACROSS THE NATION!

Words cannot express the joy and blessings I have received from helping women across the nation to start and grow their businesses. From side hustles, part-time and full-time business owners to large commercial companies, women are truly making their mark.

Being in business for 25+ years, my goal is to share and teach from my failures as well as my successes. This way, my clients can prevent making the same mistakes, save money and truly step into their role as Queens of their own Empire!

KEEPING IT REAL! Life and business success coach, financial wellness advocate, speaker, author, and radio host, Katrina D. Newby (affectionately called " Queen Trina") teaches women how to use powerful Christian principles, strategies and systems, so they can reclaim their personal power, making more money and live a spiritually fulfilled lives.

A serial entrepreneur, she is the founder and CEO of Women About Biz (WAB), a business startup and growth development company serving thousands of women Internationally for more than two decades, host of their popular weekly online radio show, Successful Woman Radio and owner of 3 other successful companies.

Passionate about helping others “reclaim their financial power”, Trina conducts live and virtual financial literacy presentations on, personal and business credit, budgeting, saving and money management.

She also created and facilitated signature workshops and seminars for the US Military (Navy), Small Business Administration, and Small Business Development Centers. She currently serves on several boards and volunteer projects that impact the lives of women and children.

Trina is a recipient of the Anchor of Excellence Award for her contribution and support of business owners and the “Mom Boss Biz Award” for her contributions and work with moms seeking to start and grow a business. She was a top nominee as Business Woman of the Year by the Atlanta Business League and is also greatly involved in women’s issues throughout the United States.

She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia and loves speaking and encouraging women to Become Queens of Their Empire!
